NTU Interdisciplinary Panel Discussion and Dinner
To promote interdisciplinary cooperation between the various Colleges, a successful first NTU Interdisciplinary Panel Discussion and Dinner was held at the College of Medicine on July 2nd, 2015. This discussion and dinner was hosted by Dean Chang Shan-Chwen of the College of Medicine, and was attended by a total of 78 faculty members, including President Pan-Chyr Yang (楊泮池), Vice President Liang-Gee Chen (陳良基), the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Dean of Research and Development, the Deans of each College, and the Superintendent of the University Hospital.
The Panel Discussion focused on three topics in interdisciplinary research and healthcare: Neurological Research in Psychosis, lectured by Prof. Tseng Wen-Yih (曾文毅); Interdisciplinary Cooperation in Real-Time Telemedicine, lectured by Associate Prof. Ho Yi-lwun (何奕倫); and Hair Regeneration: From the Bedside to the Bench, lectured by Associate Prof. Lin Sung-Jan (林頌然). The lectures and subsequent discussion were well-received. Hopes are this even will serve as a platform to encourage future inter-College cooperation.
