Office of General Affairs provides essential services to the NTU campuses with a wide variety of ranges, supporting its normal operation and enhancing the quality of physical environment of learning, researching and living.
Making NTU work - to make sure that the physical environment, utilities, and support services help the 36,000-member NTU community do their work, Office of General Affairs emphasizes the concept of respecting customers and uses ISO procedures to maintain efficient services in a courteous, professional manner. The guidelines for services are: "positive, innovation, quality, efficiency," and the goal is to establish a green sustainable campus:
"being ecological, abatement of litter, recycling, saving energy."
There are 8 sections in Office of General Affairs: Construction and Maintenance Section, Property Management Section, Purchasing Section, Facilities Service Section, General Services Section, Documentation Section, Cashier Section and Campus Security. In addition, there is a General Services Section for daily operation of general affairs in each of two branch campuses, one for the College of Medicine and the other for the Colleges of Law and Social Sciences.
