The Welcome Mixer will be held on September 12th at 4pm by the banks of the Luna Pond.

Welcome to National Taiwan University! The Office of International Affairs (OIA) have partnered up with the NTU Student Association (NTUSA), International Student Association (ISA) as well as the International Student Information Service (ISIE) to host a Welcome Mixer for New (Inter)national Students where you can officially begin a new chapter of your life as an NTU student. The Welcome Mixer will be held on September 12th at 4pm by the banks of the Luna Pond. Join us for a relaxing evening of fine music and scrumptious snacking while connecting with other new students from here and abroad.

During the New Student Orientation that will be held on September 10th, we will hand out a pair of tickets for you and your student volunteer. As such, please get in touch with your student volunteer as soon as possible. We recommend you meet up with your student volunteer earlier on the day of the event so that both of you can enter the Welcome Mixer together. For your convenience, we have set up five rendezvous points, each marked numerically, around Luna Pond where you and your student volunteer can meet up. After entering the venue, please keep your ticket stubs for a chance to win prizes from our Lucky Draw event.

The Welcome Mixer provides a lively and friendly environment for you and your student volunteer to get better acquainted. As such, we will be holding a Selfie Contest where you and your student volunteer will have the opportunity to win one of our fabulous prizes which include but not limited to: T-shirts, crusher hats, bikes, etc. All you have to do is take a selfie with your student volunteer and upload the picture onto Instagram or Facebook with hashtag #2015WelcomeMixer. We’ll also have plenty of games where you and your student volunteer can compete against other teams, so make sure to bring your “A” game!
