With enormous efforts of the faculty members and staffs for years, the NTU College of Public Health (CPH) has been accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) of the United States and has become a member of the Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) in June 2017. CPH is the first institution which is accredited by CEPH as well as the first ASPPH member outside North America.
Allison Foster, the ASPPH Deputy Executive Director and her colleagues visited CPH on August 28-29, 2017 to introduce the rights of ASPPH membership as well as the system of Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS). They also attended the CEPH accreditation announcement party and press conference held by CPH on August 29. ASPPH also released on their official website the news of Foster’s visit.
