Subjects NTU ranks Top 200 in 2025 QS Subject Rankings.
As announced by UK higher education analyst Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), National Taiwan University (NTU) made the Top-200 list in 47 of the 55 subjects it investigated. Among those 47, NTU ranks in the Top 100 in 38 of them
Compared to the last year, the rankings and performance have improved across the board. NTY ranks a total of 47 subjects in the top 200 (up from 44 last year), 38 in the top 100 (up from 32 last year), and 7 in the top 50 rankings. More importantly, NTU is the leading institute in Taiwan in almost all 47 subjects.
The sampling period for this subject-based ranking is the same as that of the QS 2025 World University Rankings released in June last year. The common factors among these improved performances include enhancements in academic reputation, employer reputation, citation rates of papers, and international collaboration networks. Looking ahead, NTU will continue to review these components of international competitiveness and strive to excel in future rankings.
